Getting started, membership & billing, telehealth visits, treatment approach, and Utah & local care. Everything in one place.
Getting started
Purchase your 60-minute Initial Consultation for $349, choose an available appointment time, and complete your secure intake. Your appointment is not booked or confirmed until payment succeeds.
The practice opens October 20, 2026. Available appointment times appear in the booking calendar.
During your 60-minute first visit, we’ll review your medical history, your current concerns, and treatments you’ve tried, including what has and hasn’t worked for you. We’ll order a DXA scan to assess your bone health and any lab testing needed to guide your care.
Packages & billing
The Initial Consultation is $349 for 60 minutes. After purchasing the Initial Consultation, your secure portal provides access to a 30-minute Pay-per-visit Follow-up for $149 or Ongoing-care Membership at $35/week, billed $280 every 8 weeks.
Initial Consultations and pay-per-visit Follow-ups are charged in full when you book. An appointment is not booked or confirmed until payment succeeds. Member Visits use an available prepaid visit credit.
Each paid 8-week cycle adds one prepaid 45-minute Member Visit credit. Unused credits accumulate and do not expire. The credit does not require you to schedule a visit every 8 weeks.
Sign in to the secure client portal. Purchasing the Initial Consultation gives you access to follow-up and membership options in your secure portal. Your visit is where you discuss appropriate next steps with Marisa.
We are a cash-pay practice. Prices are shown before you book. Our cash-pay approach supports longer appointments, with time to discuss your concerns, answer questions, and plan your care together.
No. Marisa has opted out of Medicare. You pay for visits directly, and Medicare will not reimburse you for these visits, even if you submit a receipt or superbill yourself.
Telehealth & visits
In-person visits are optional. Video visits or in-person appointments are available. In-person visits are available every other Tuesday in South Jordan.
A device with a camera and mic, a stable internet connection, and a private space where you can talk freely. We'll send a simple link through your portal or email beforehand.
Your Initial Consultation is 60 minutes. Pay-per-visit Follow-ups are 30 minutes. Each membership visit is 45 minutes.
Treatment approach
Perimenopause and menopause care (natural or surgical), hormone therapy, vaginal and urinary health, labs and testing review, and bone health. Lifestyle support is available through Ongoing-care Membership. See our Services page for details on each.
Marisa looks at your symptoms in the context of your health history, daily life, and personal goals. Medication may be part of your care, alongside conversations about the habits and challenges that affect how you feel. For those who choose Ongoing-care Membership, lifestyle support and regular progress check-ins provide a continuing partnership as you work toward your goals.
No. Lab tests and DXA scans are separate from your visit price. The outside lab or imaging facility bills you directly; we do not collect payment for these tests. We can order labs and provide a lab price estimate before testing, but the lab determines the final cost.
Safety and fit depend on your individual health history and goals, which is why every plan starts with a comprehensive evaluation, not a one-size-fits-all prescription. Marisa Martin reviews your full history with you before recommending anything, and your plan stays open to adjustment as things change.
Perimenopause is the transition leading up to menopause, when hormone levels begin fluctuating and symptoms often start. It can last several years and can start as early as age 36. Natural menopause is confirmed after 12 consecutive months without a period when there is no other cause. Menopause can also result from removal of both ovaries or certain medical treatments. We care for the whole transition, not just the point at the end of it.
No. Our menopause care complements the care you receive from your primary care provider. Continue seeing your primary care provider for routine care, preventive screenings, and health concerns outside our specialty.
